Peninsular Prep (formerly South Tampa Microschool) is a small, student-centered K-8 school where curiosity, creativity, and connection drive meaningful learning. Rooted in the belief that learning should be exciting and engaging, we offer a dynamic blend of hands-on academics, interest-driven studies, and real-world field experiences. Our intentionally small community allows each student to be truly known, supported, and challenged by dedicated educators who value both academic growth and personal development. At Pen Prep, we nurture confident, compassionate learners who are equipped to think critically, lead with empathy, and thrive in an ever-changing world.
Elementary Division
With small class sizes and qualified teachers, each transitional kindergarten through grade 4 student gets an opportunity to learn through creative, imaginative lessons in a tight-knit community that focuses on kindness and connections.
Middle Division
Our middle school approach fosters collaboration, community engagement, and a commitment to lifelong learning in students grades 5-8. We nurture curious, confident, and capable leaders who are ready to embrace the future.
