After school Enrichments (ASEs)

  • At Peninsular Prep, learning does not stop when the school day ends. Our After School Enrichment (ASE) programs give students the opportunity to explore new interests and develop creative skills.

  • Our enrichment programs run in four blocks throughout the year, giving families fresh options each quarter.

    These experiences are led by our highly qualified teachers and trusted community partners who bring specialized skills and exciting opportunities to our students.

  • Offerings vary throughout the year but have included activities like karate, jewelry making, yoga, chess, theater, and more, with programs available for both elementary and middle school students.

    After School Enrichments are open to the public, but Peninsular Prep students receive priority registration before spots open to the general public.

What Are Immersions?

Immersions are one of the most unique learning experiences at Peninsular Prep. These special programs take place during Mariner Mondays, where students spend the morning diving deeply into engaging topics before enjoying lunch, recess, and an early release.

  • Unlike traditional enrichment activities, immersions give students more time to explore a subject in depth. Instead of short sessions, students are able to fully engage with a topic, ask questions, collaborate with peers and build meaningful projects around what they are learning.

  • Examples of immersions include Coding and Video Games, The Great Outdoors, History Explorers, Latin Fables and Flavors, American Girl Dollidays Around the World, and many more. Some immersions may include mixed age groups across elementary and middle school, creating opportunities for mentorship and collaboration.

  • While our in-school enrichments introduce students to a wide variety of skills during the regular school week, immersions allow them to dive deeper into a specific passion. For example, students might experience general physical education during the school day, while a specialized activity like archery would be offered as an immersion.
